ROOM

A broadsheet designed to explore how living spaces shape our lives.

At the start of the pandemic in my city, there were cases where young students were criticized for their Zoom call backgrounds—their personal rooms—turning them into markers of economic status and sources of peer pressure. While a room may seem like just a private space, it is inherently tied to broader issues of housing rights, equity, and social dynamics. ROOM goes beyond spatiality, seeking to explore the intersection of space, accessibility, and democracy.
